Laboratory Technician Microbiology- Part-time Work type: Part Time (Permanent) 22.80 hours per week About Us Western Diagnostic Pathology is a Healius business. About the Role We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Performing manual and automated diagnostic testing Specimen storage and retrieval Equipment maintenance and operation Maintenance of records Assist with stock control Maintain confidentiality of customer About You To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including: A Diploma of Laboratory Technology, Associate Degree or equivalent Previous laboratory experience, preferably in diagnostic testing, is desirable A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures Strong interpersonal and organisational skills Strong attention to detail & time management skills Awareness of Workplace Health and Safety and quality assurance processes and procedures Previous Pathology Laboratory experience is desirable, but not essential We believe everyone leads, no matter what role they are in.
