Due to growth, we are seeking an experiencedMechanical Draftsperson to join the Saunders International team, preferably based at our head office based in Rhodes, NSW. RESPONSIBILITIES The primary objective of the Mechanical Draftsperson is to support the design and engineering teams by: Preparing accurate and timely 2D and 3D technical drawings and models for mechanical projects. Working with engineers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards. Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to gather and clarify design information. Supporting fabrication, construction, and operations teams with clear, concise documentation. Ensuring drawing records are up to date, filed appropriately, and retrievable when required. Supporting continuous improvement and consistency of CAD standards and workflows. ABOUT YOU 3+ years’ experience in AutoCAD/Plant3D, or related engineering 3D design software. Detailed understanding and ability to support the training of others in CAD applications. Experience with Microsoft Office applications. Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the external and internal business environment. Ability to respond to a changing work environment.
