Investor Relations Manager | Venture Capital Melbourne A reputable APAC venture capital firm is expanding its footprint into Victoria and is seeking an Investor Relations Manager to play a key role in that growth phase. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys building relationships, raising capital, and representing an investment brand with credibility and polish. Reporting to the Head of Investor Relations, you’ll sit at the intersection of fundraising, investor engagement, and market development as the firm scales its local investor base. The Role You will be responsible for building and managing relationships with current and prospective investors, external partners (including wealth advisers and accountants), and internal stakeholders. You’ll support capital raising across managed funds and direct investment opportunities, help shape investor communications and events, and act as a trusted point of contact for the investor community. This role suits someone with strong commercial instincts, confidence engaging high‑net‑worth investors, and exposure to early‑stage or growth investing. Key Responsibilities Partner with senior leadership on capital raises across funds and direct investments Support investor roadshows, meetings, and virtual events Source and secure new capital, particularly from angel and high-net-worth investors Investor & Relationship Management Build and maintain long‑term relationships with existing and prospective investors Develop a strategic pipeline of institutional and HNW investors in Victoria Act as a primary contact for investor communications, updates, and feedback Ensure timely, accurate, and professional responses to investor enquiries About You 3+ years’ experience within an investment, funds management, sales or related financial services business Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to clearly articulate investment concepts Exposure to venture capital, early‑stage, or growth investing is highly regarded Comfortable engaging and “selling” to sophisticated high‑net-worth and institutional investors Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating with autonomy Naturally strong relationship builder with a well‑developed network mindset What’s on Offer A pivotal role during a key growth phase of the firm Direct exposure to innovative founders, startups, and leading investors High autonomy within a collaborative, entrepreneurial team Competitive remuneration and genuine long‑term growth opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr
