PASTRY CHEF POSITION AT OTTIMO, COOLANGATTA We are seeking a permanent, full-time Pastry Cook to Ottimo in Coolangatta where we are committed to continuing to provide the best Italian pastries and sweets for our customers. Responsibilities Prepare, bake, and decorate buns, cakes, biscuits, and pastry goods Maintain comprehensive knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intended, properly and safely Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations and food safety requirements Meet with the Owner to review assignments, anticipated business levels, changes and other information pertinent to the job performance Inspect the cleanliness and working conditions of all tools, equipment, and supplies Establish priority items for the day Prepare all products following recipes and yield guides, according to set standards Must be an enthusiastic all‑rounder Willingness to learn Qualifications Experience and qualification: Cert III in Patisserie including 1 year’s work experience or Cert IV in Patisserie. A great work environment and a $75,000 remuneration for the successful applicant.
