About the role: Reporting to the Service and Application Support Manager as an IT Support Officer, you will be responsible for providing IT support and maintenance within the Eagers Automotive's desktop computing environment. You will have a key focus in assisting AMCAP and also provide application support for AMCAP's key applications. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all PC hardware and equipment to ensure optimal workstation performance. This role will see you working directly with the existing IT teams delivering day-to-day IT support in a professional and efficient manner. Some of your responsibilities will include: User onboarding and offboarding system configuration Escalate/Liaise with support teams/external support parties to resolve systems, communication, and application faults Provide 1st and 2nd level technical support to staff (remote & in-person) for hardware, software and network issues. Document IT procedures and solutions for the knowledge base Adhere to IS Change Management policies and procedure About you: Diploma, Degree or Certificate-level qualification in IT (or equivalent experience) Experience in an IT Support/Help Desk role Excellent verbal and written communications skills Broad knowledge of computer systems, business processes and principles Ability to co-ordinate with vendors, manufacturers, clients and employees at all levels Ability to work under pressure Ability to work in and contribute to a harmonious Team environment Great problem diagnosis and solving skills Exposure to technologies including Microsoft/Office 365, Azure, AWS, SQL, SharePoint, OneDrive, DHCP, WiFi and Active Directory (Desirable) Understanding of basic networking (Wi-Fi, VLANs, IP configuration) (Desirable) Current and valid Driver's license (Desirable) What we offer: Discounted health insurance Discounts on employee purchases including finance & insurance options Employee Assistance program Training and development opportunities Free parking On-site cafeteria At Eagers Automotive, we embrace change and promote an inclusive and diverse environment.
