Location: Flexible Location Rockhampton Mackay or Sarina Remuneration / Benefit: Attractive Package offered About the role We're looking for an experienced learning professional to design and facilitate effective training solutions. Your work will ensure employees are equipped with the right skills knowledge and confidence to succeed in a fast-moving environment Key accountabilities include Facilitate engaging and practical trade-related training that drives real behaviour change Use a mix of training styles including classroom field-based simulations and mentoring Tailor learning to suit different experience levels and learning preferences Support the continuous improvement of training and assessment resources Align materials with RTO requirements and National Competency Standards Maintain current operational and trade knowledge to stay connected to real-world practice Build strong relationships with participants to encourage engagement and learning Evaluate outcomes to ensure training delivers measurable results What you bring to the role Relevant qualifications that support delivery of Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) outcomes such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent in adult learning Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate mentor and inspire others Deep knowledge of your trade discipline (Cert II and III in Rail Infrastructure and Track Protection Aluminothermic Welding) and the ability to translate that into practical engaging training Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the confidence to adapt collaborate and drive continuous improvement What we offer you At Aurizon we support the development and growth of our employees.
