We are looking for a mechanically minded Workshop Team Member with warehouse experience for our Rowville Operations. We are a market leader in the supply of valve and actuation products nationally. The Workshop / Warehouse role is pivotal to the success of our business, in servicing our client base within Australia. The role largely involves Product assembly & Testing, requiring a high level of quality assurance, warehousing, packing and dispatch. Will suit Ex Trade person looking for a change. Qualifications & Experience The successful candidate will require the following attributes; Previous experience in similar role High attention to detail & strong time management skills Valve experience would be beneficial but not necessary Reliable, punctual and committed Great communicator within a team as well as with clients Excellent numeracy skills Computer literate – competent in Outlook Driver’s License Forklift License Willingness to follow policies and procedures Ability to switch tasks as needed Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Neat and tidy appearance Have a "can do" attitude Positively reinforce company culture Tasks & Responsibilities Assembly & Testing of Manual & Automated Valves. Training will also be provided for assembly & testing tasks Managing the stock in our warehouse, ensuring all items are clearly labelled and stored in the correct location Check goods according to our Quality Management procedure on arrival and when packaging products for dispatch Picking / Packing / Palletizing orders and ensuring that all items are securely packed for transport Unloading Trucks / Containers Conduct Stock-takes and follow up errors in cycle counts Support our Sales & Operations team Understanding and use of imperial & metric measurements is a must A demonstrated commitment to safety and the environment Knowledge and skills in hydraulics and pneumatics is an advantage Prior knowledge of valve & actuation products is not required as we will provide in-house training #J-18808-Ljbffr
