Palliative Care Bereavement Social Worker/ Psychologist - Location Negotiable Join Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) in delivering vital bereavement support. This role is a temporary full‑time position (up to 38 h per week) until 30 April 2026, with job share considered and located in a negotiated setting (virtual work arrangements are considered). Key Responsibilities Coordinate support and bereavement follow‑up for family members and carers of patients within the MLHD Palliative Care Service. Provide consistent information and psycho‑education for bereaved family members and carers. Ensure awareness of available support services and resources, including bereavement counselling through MLHD for those who meet referral criteria. Deliver client care within professional, organisational, legal and ethical boundaries, reflecting evidence‑based practice and MLHD values. Employment Details Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (until 30 April 2026); job share considered. Position Classification: Social Worker – Level 3 / Psychologist. Remuneration: $77,358.00 – $116,038.00 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable). Hours Per Week: up to 38. Requisition ID: REQ .
