We are currently taking applications for a Grocery Manager . You will be required to promote and maintain an exceptional standard of customer service through personal example and direction whilst taking responsibility for our store. Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll have full accountability for the running of the store in the absence of the store manager. You'll take pride in contributing to a store which is exceptionally presented, welcoming and engaging for our customers, team members and local community. We are a leading QLD supermarket chain with 6 stores across South East QLD. We supply fresh, local, high-quality food to the customers seven days a week. Key Responsibilities: Supervising, inducting and training team members Receiving, replenishing and maintaining high standards of stock presentation in the store Juggling multiple things at once, motivating others and keeping calm under pressure Serving and building relationships with customers Overseeing store operations The role involves a rotating roster, including Days, Weekends and Nights Ordering and Inventory Management Accountabilities: Ensuring stock levels are adequate, rotated, and department presentation is well maintained Ensuring security procedures are followed Learning every aspect of running a store Assisting store management in driving sales and achieving targets Help develop, guide and motivate a capable team of store staff of the highest quality and standard Have experience in supervising people Be friendly, outgoing, trustworthy and reliable Have good communication skills Ability to work within a team environment Providing the highest standards of customer service Be willing to "go that extra mile" for our customers The successful candidate will be required to undertake a successful national police clearance .
