Early Childhood Teacher – Fairfield City Council We are seeking 2 Early Childhood Teachers to join Fairfield City Best Start Education & Care. This role is part of a dynamic team delivering play‑based, child‑centred education for children aged 0‑5 years. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Role Expectations (Qualifications) Bachelor of Teaching or Education (Early Childhood) as approved by ACECQA or currently working towards. Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma Certificate, Anaphylaxis Certificate and Working with Children Check, as approved by ACECQA. Accredited Teacher actively working towards the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers for Provisional Teachers; Conditional Teachers also welcomed. Meet the minimum requirements of a responsible person under the Education and Care Services National Regulations. Working knowledge and demonstrated high‑quality pedagogical programming skills incorporating the Early Years Learning Framework, the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standards. Ability to participate in decision‑making and problem‑solving. Strong interpersonal skills in multiple teams. Benefits Job security and stability. Salary & Employment Conditions Full‑time permanent position – 35 hours per week. Full‑time maternity leave position – up to 12 months, 35 hours per week.
