Provide high quality support to veterans and their families who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Provide comprehensive, evidence-based, and person-centred support to veterans and families facing housing challenges. Utilising your expertise in trauma-informed and strengths-based case management, you will empower clients to overcome barriers to securing and maintaining safe, stable, and sustainable housing. You will guide clients through the complexities of the rental market and assist them in accessing public, social and community housing options where eligible, fostering resilience in housing security. Key responsibilities include: Planning and providing safe, compassionate, integrated and holistic homelessness support Fostering active veteran and / or family engagement in the identification, development and implementation of individualised housing goals Assisting with applications for social and community housing; private rental applications; and tenancy sustainment strategies and support Case management Assisting with applications for social and community housing; private rental applications; and tenancy sustainment strategies and support Qualifications and experience you'll need: Completed undergraduate degree in Human Services, Social Sciences, Health Sciences (or equivalent) Eligibility for registration under a well-known and established governing body (e.g. AHPRA, AASW) is essential Experience working in housing and homelessness services, with a strong understanding of relevant policies, support frameworks, and community resources will make your application competitive.
