Responsibilities Act as the single point of contact for all email and SMS communications, managing the send schedule within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Build and deploy campaigns (email and SMS), including one‑off sends and automated journeys, ensuring timely and accurate delivery. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to execute and optimise automated campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to ensure best‑practice delivery and scalability. Drive automation wherever possible, creating scalable journeys and workflows to improve efficiency and customer experience. Own audience segmentation and personalisation for all sends, applying best‑practice approaches to maximise engagement. Serve as the technical lead for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, overseeing platform configuration, troubleshooting, and sharing expertise across the business. Collaborate closely with the data team to apply insights and optimise campaign performance. Report on email and SMS campaign performance and budget usage, providing clear updates and recommendations to management. Support email template design and maintenance. Maintain data integrity, manage communication opt‑outs, and ensure compliance with data standards. Work with internal stakeholders to align campaigns with business objectives. Test and optimise campaign metrics (open rates, clicks, conversions) for continuous improvement. Promote team spirit and adhere to Club policies, Workplace Health & Safety, and environmental responsibilities. Campaign Development and Implementation Build and deploy club email and SMS marketing activity. Develop and execute automated customer journeys. Collaborate with the marketing team to optimise campaign delivery. Test and improve campaign metrics (open rates, clicks, conversions). Deliver insights and recommendations for performance improvements. Skills and Experience Minimum 12 months’ experience in a digital marketing or marketing automation role. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience is strongly preferred; however, experience with a comparable marketing automation platform will also be considered. Degree in IT, E‑Commerce, Marketing, or related discipline. Experience with campaign automation tools, customer segmentation, and omnichannel digital marketing. Technical skills in SQL, CSS, HTML (desirable). Data management experience with Microsoft Excel and mass data importing tools. Experience with Ticketmaster Archtics and/or Google Analytics 360 (advantageous). Strong organisational and time‑management skills, able to meet shifting demands. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast‑paced team. Interest in Australian Rules Football or other professional sporting codes.
