About the role The Senior Investment Analytics and Insights Analyst is pivotal in driving the fund's digital transformation and enhancing investment decision making. Reporting to the Manager, Investment Insights & Reporting, you will support the investment team by delivering data‑driven insights and sophisticated analytics through business intelligence tools, enabling a whole‑of‑fund perspective on performance and risk. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in integrating diverse data sources, building insightful dashboards and working within multi‑asset environments. Your deep understanding of investment data and systems will ensure that key metrics are monitored effectively, making this role essential to optimising investment outcomes and strategic fund management. Key Accountabilities Design and deliver data‑driven analytics solutions by collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs. Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards and data workflows using SQL and data modelling to optimise reporting and insights. Enhance and automate existing reporting processes, replacing manual Excel models with scalable data‑driven solutions. Support data governance initiatives, including documentation, glossaries and integration with governance tools. Provide training and collaborate across teams to improve data literacy, share knowledge and support long‑term analytics capabilities. What will you bring? Experience in a similar Data Analyst or Analytics and Insights Analyst role specifically working with multi‑asset investment data. Strong expertise in SQL, data modelling and building reusable data assets using tools like Excel or Python. Effective communicator and collaborator with experience working across complex stakeholder environments. Proactive and accountable with a focus on automating processes and improving data quality and governance. Knowledge of third‑party investment systems such as Factset, Ortec, Pearl, BarraOne, RIMES, Datastream and/or Bloomberg preferred. Exposure to using Microsoft Azure, including managing cloud‑based data solutions and supporting platform integration.
