About this opportunity:The Rostering Officer provides accurate and timely rosters to CYF employees by rostering according to staff contracts to ensure hours are met and according to specific shift and client service needs.
Key responsibilities of this role:Ensure shifts are filled in a timely manner and in such a way as to ensure minimum disruption to client supportsAudit timesheets fortnightly for payroll processingAdvise and support Case Managers in the population of and updating of rostersSet up and manage ongoing rosters for all employees and ensure that shifts are filled in a timely manner with support from line managersProcess annual leave and availability requests in consultation with Case ManagersEnsure hours worked by employees are monitored to ensure employees are working within any industrial relation obligations and awardsEnsure shift allocations comply with contract requirements, minimum training/credentialing requirements and client preferencesCoordinate rostering of new employees to ensure that they undertake on-site induction training and shadow shifts.Respond to and appropriately manage employee queries regarding their rostersTo succeed in this role you will have:Experience and/or understanding of rostering (essential)Ability to interpret the SCHADS award and any other relevant legislations (highly regarded)Intermediate skills in the use of Client Information Management Systems such as Visual Care (highly regarded)Flexibility to work between the hours of 6am to 6pm on a rotation rosterDemonstrated proficiency in Microsoft OfficeAbility to prioritise in a fast-paced environment and self-manage workloads to meet competing deadlinesA commitment to providing a solution focused approach and attitudeStrong customer service and stakeholder engagement skillsWorking with Children Blue CardWhy work with us:Flexible work options – flex day modelMonthly rostered day off – an extra 12 days off per yearAnnual FREE Flu VaccinationAcademic Study Day ProgramSonder complete care platform – 24/7 supportOngoing learning and development including career growth opportunitiesCorporate Health Care PartnersTemporary Office Swap – locations across QLDRecognition – Employee of the Month, 5 & 10 year Service AwardsSanctuary Model of Care framework trainingCRUX Management Services (CRUX) provide people, compliance, and corporate services to a select number of companies.
