About the role Hankook Tyre Australia is seeking a highly motivated State Sales Manager – New South Wales to lead our sales operations in the state. This role reports directly to the Sales Director. As State Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the NSW sales team, driving sales growth, and developing strong relationships with both national and independent customers. You will execute strategic sales initiatives, coach and mentor your team, and play a key role in shaping the market presence of Hankook Tyre in New South Wales. Key Responsibilities Execute the Hankook national sales plan to achieve revenue and growth targets in New South Wales. Lead, coach, and develop a team of Business Development Executives to maximise individual and team performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including independent retailers and local contacts of national clients. Implement sales promotions and campaigns to drive results across all sales channels. Identify and develop new sales opportunities, including new national channels and local independent retailers. Improve and refine customer sales strategy, support CRM system, and implement and champion sales-centric initiatives. Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of the purchase process, call to order, product, and market development. Provide customer and channel insights to your insights and Sales Director and keep sales data up to date in the SOCAN system with new target interest. About you Minimum five years’ experience in a sales management or senior sales role, ideally in the tyre or automotive industry. Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve sales targets. Strong commercial acumen and a structured approach to managing territories, customers, and teams. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to travel within New South Wales as required. Be part of a global, innovative company with strong growth prospects.
