About the role and you We’re searching for a visionary Head of Broadcast Operations — a technical and operational leader ready to drive the next phase of SEN’s TV broadcast evolution. This is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for the strategy, delivery, and technical excellence behind every SEN and Rainmaker production. This role sits at the heart of SEN’s broadcast future — leading a talented team of engineers, producers, and technicians to deliver exceptional, reliable, and innovative broadcast experiences. You’ll have the autonomy to shape technology direction, lead major infrastructure projects, and bring new ideas to life across studio, live, and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities Set and execute SEN’s broadcast operations strategy, driving innovation, scalability, and technical excellence. Lead and optimise all broadcast functions — from studio operations and live OBs to post‑production, transmission, and streaming. Shape the technical roadmap, identifying opportunities for transformation and introducing technologies that elevate performance and quality. Manage capital investment and operational budgets, ensuring efficiency while supporting strategic growth. Deliver complex broadcast projects — from major event coverage and technology upgrades to new studio builds — on time and within budget. Build, inspire, and develop a high‑performing technical and production team known for collaboration, innovation, and reliability. Partner with leadership, content, and commercial teams to align technical delivery with creative and strategic objectives. Key Requirements Proven success leading broadcast operations or engineering teams in television, live production, or digital broadcast environments. Deep technical knowledge across broadcast systems, workflows, and transmission technologies — including IP, cloud, and multi‑platform delivery. Strong strategic, commercial, and project management capability, with experience overseeing large budgets and complex delivery pipelines. A passion for innovation and continuous improvement, always looking for smarter, faster, better ways to broadcast. Outstanding communication and leadership skills — able to unite teams and stakeholders behind a shared broadcast vision.
