Reporting to the Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will have had experience in, OR exposure to performing tasks such as seismic monitoring, rock mass data collection, deformation monitoring (Damage mapping, LiDAR, Extensometers etc), geotechnical hazard and risk management; You have an eye for detail and a talent for identifying and mitigating complex problems or hazards, ensuring lessons are learned, process improvements are understood, communicated, and documented. At Cadia, working alongside some of the worlds’ leading experts in the field of Block Cave Mining, you will develop and implement key engineering procedures and systems, which will set the standard for years to come. Qualifications Experience in hard rock (preferable) or underground mining Bachelor’s degree or higher in either geotechnical, mining, civil engineering, or geology disciplines Mandatory : Open manual car licence Please note: This is a 9 day per fortnight or 5 / 2 residential role in Orange, NSW.
