FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

One For the Road is a family owned hospitality group that operates four large venues including South Beach Hotel, Federal Boutique Hotel, 8 Knots Tavern and Bicton Tavern. The family friendly and food orientated venues are located within the greater Fremantle area offering quality customer experience in comfort and style. With a group turnover of approximately $30 million and continued growth across our venues, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead our finance function and support the next phase of strategic and operational expansion. This is a hands‑on senior role suited to someone who thrives in a fast paced operational environment, understands hospitality cost structures, and can bring discipline, structure, and insight to group reporting. Key Responsibilities Deliver accurate monthly P&L, balance sheet, cashflow forecasting and consolidated reporting Lead annual budgeting and track performance against KPIs Strengthen controls across payroll, inventory, purchasing and venue‑level spending Build and manage departmental budgets across the Group Mentor and support the finance and accounts team Manage and enhance the Group’s profit share plan Proactively manage and optimise the Group’s tax planning, compliance and lodgments Oversee supplier agreements, debtor management and third party service providers Drive continuous improvement of systems, processes and reporting capability About You You are a commercially minded finance leader who enjoys partnering with venue managers and senior management to drive performance.
