We’re partnering with a highly regarded Melbourne law firm seeking an experienced Public Liability/Personal Injury litigator to join their Recoveries team. This role sits within a specialist practice acting on complex accident compensation matters, with a strong focus on recovery actions against public liability insurers. You’ll step into a busy, sophisticated client environment and handle technically challenging litigation involving workplace incidents, third‑party negligence, and insurer recoveries. Ideal for a senior lawyer (5+ PQE) with a background in insurance litigation, public liability, personal injury, or recoveries work. Full‑time or near full‑time, with an immediate start. Key Requirements: Minimum 5 years’ PQE in insurance litigation, personal injury, public liability, or defendant‑side recoveries Strong experience running litigated matters end‑to‑end Familiarity with WorkCover / WorkSafe matters highly regarded Confident in managing complex evidence, liability issues, and insurer‑driven strategy Ability to liaise with sophisticated government and insurer clients Based in Melbourne and available to start ASAP LOD is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
