With proven experience and expertise across the project lifecycle, we work with local communities and our customers to lead the transition to Australia’s clean energy future.Reporting to the Head of Communications, the Senior Manager Media is responsible for the delivery of strategic proactive media campaigns and managing reputational risks at a company and industry level. This role may involve travel to other office locations and remote regional sites to engage and liaise with broader Squadron Energy (SQE) teams and relevant stakeholders.**Key Responsibilities**Lead the development and delivery of media strategies and campaigns that build awareness of Squadron Energy’s purpose, projects and leadership in the energy transition, and protect and enhance its reputation in the community and among stakeholders.**Skills and experience****Experience and knowledge**Minimum 8+ years’ experience in media relations and external communications.Demonstrated experience driving successful media campaigns delivering outcomes that shift community sentiment or deliver broad educational outcomes.Proven experience working with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.Experience working in renewable energy or a government organisation (highly desirable).**Skills** Exceptional writing skills with the ability to develop compelling, tailored content, including media releases, Q&As, talking points, speeches, presentations, and other content as required.Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment to meet deadlines.Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to take on a range of tasks.Ability to identify, plan and execute proactive media opportunities and events to support the organisation's strategy and changes in the wider industry landscape.Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities while maintaining high standards of work.Ability to take a flexible and creative approach to successfully manage opportunities, issues and requests.Ability to monitor and identify emerging issues and apply strategies to manage them.**Qualifications** Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations and/or related relevant field experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
