The Catholic Education Office (CEO) within CECG provides corporate services to the CECG system of Schools, ELCs and the CEO through seven Service Areas. These Service Areas include: Education and Performance Improvement; Catholic Identity; School and Family Services; Strategy and Special Projects; Finance and Infrastructure; Information and Communication Technology; and People and Culture. About the Role TheInclusion Officer - Complex Case Coordinatorpromotes the Catholic ethos while providing leadership and specialist support for students with diverse needs across our schools. The role involves coordinating programs for students at risk or with disabilities, managing complex cases, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver effective strategies and professional learning. The focus is on creating safe, inclusive environments where every student can thrive. Key responsibilities of the role include: Identifying, managing, and reviewing case assignments to ensure students and school staff are provided appropriate training, care, and support to address emergent student welfare, safety, and/or inclusion needs. Facilitate case conferences and meetings with various internal and external stakeholders to coordinate the comprehensive and cohesive response to complex student needs. Promote the Catholic ethos formally and informally in the performance of day-to-day tasks and responsibilities in dealing with CEO staff, school communities, governments and other agencies. Assist Catholic Education colleagues with the preparation and delivery of quality professional learning to ensure effectiveness. Maintain partnerships with external organisations to improve student inclusion and wellbeing outcomes. About the Team The Inclusion Officer - Complex Case Coordinator will work as part of the School and Family Services Team to assess student’s needs, build partnerships with schools and other professionals, and implement strategies to address the inclusion and wellbeing needs of all students, particularly in secondary school settings. The incumbent will support schools by coordinating and taking the lead to manage complex case meetings.
