The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to create robust data models and architectures, streamline data integration, and enforce data governance best practices. Key Responsibilities: Create and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient data models (conceptual, logical, physical) and architectures that align with business goals and technical requirements. Develop and implement data integration strategies, including ETL/ELT processes, ensuring data consistency, quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations. Evaluate, optimize, and scale existing data pipelines for improved performance, ensuring seamless data flow and minimal downtime. Partner with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to design data solutions that support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning initiatives. Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation on data models, architecture, and best practices to ensure consistency and transparency across teams. Key Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields, with a proven track record of successful data system implementations. Strong expertise in creating and managing data models (conceptual, logical, physical), databases (SQL/NoSQL), and data warehousing solutions. Hands‑on experience with major cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and cloud‑native data services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Redshift, BigQuery). Proficiency in ETL/ELT tools and big data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop). Familiarity with real‑time data streaming and event‑driven architectures is a plus. Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified Azure Data Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or Databricks Certified Data Engineer are highly valued. Strong ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and optimize data workflows for performance and scalability. Experience with AI/ML concepts and creating data architectures that support machine learning models is a plus. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills to effectively manage technical discussions and project requirements.
