Data Architect – Cloud & Big Data Solutions Job Description Data Architect – Cloud & Big Data Solutions Key Responsibilities Design and Develop scalable, secure, and efficient data models and frameworks aligned with business objectives. Implement data governance policies, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain data quality and security. Collaborate with stakeholders, analysts, and developers to translate business needs into technical solutions. Evaluate existing systems, optimize data pipelines for speed, and scalability. Maintain data dictionaries, architecture diagrams, and standards for clarity and consistency. Required Qualifications Technical expertise in data modelling (conceptual, logical, physical), SQL, NoSQL, Data Warehousing. Proficiency in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and ETL/ELT tools. Experience with big data frameworks like Spark and Hadoop. Technical Skills & Experience Building pipelines and working with event-based triggers for seamless data flow. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Preferred Qualifications Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and implementation. Experience in real-time data processing and streaming systems. Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. Familiarity with DevOps practices in a data engineering context.
