We are seeking a compassionate and proactive PALM Welfare Coordinator to support workers under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) Scheme in Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong. This part time role (10-15 hours per week) involves providing vital in-person welfare support to PALM workers from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, particularly those employed in the healthcare sector. It will involve travel to Bendigo and Geelong, as well as Ballarat. WHO IS CREWE SHARP? WHAT WE OFFER On the job training Weekly pay cycles Salary sacrifice available, along with other great staff benefits ABOUT THE ROLE Play a key role in providing day-to-day support, transport, and assistance to the ladies in our care, ensuring their wellbeing, comfort, and safety are always prioritised. Provide emotional and practical support to clients in residential settings Transport clients safely to appointments and community activities Maintain clear and accurate case notes and communication logs Support the development of independence and life skills Uphold confidentiality, dignity, and respect at all times Liaise with other welfare and support staff to ensure quality care Be available for travel to Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong to attend meetings, support workers on‑site, and respond to issues as they arise REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in welfare, community, or social support roles Valid driver’s licence and reliable, roadworthy vehicle Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) Strong interpersonal and communication skills A compassionate, patient, and professional attitude Be available for travel to Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong If you are passionate about helping others and want to make a meaningful impact, then this job is for you.
