About the Role As a Support Worker youll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities and young individuals by providing tailored person-centred support. Whether its daily living assistance emotional guidance or community engagement your work will help create a more inclusive and compassionate society. Youll work across a 24 / 7 rotating roster including sleepovers active nights weekends and public holidays. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality individualised support to people with disabilities and young people Assist with personal care mobility and skill development Build meaningful connections and provide mentorship and emotional support Support community participation and recreational activities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement support plans Advocate for customer rights and promote independence Create safe trauma-informed environments for young people with complex needs What youll need Childrens Services Passionate about human rights and creating positive change Empathetic compassionate and resilient Excellent communication and teamwork skills Certificate IV in Disability or Child Youth & Family Intervention (or willingness to obtain) click hereto view more details Current First Aid CPR Drivers licence & NDIS Worker check or willingness to obtain Availability for 24 / 7 rostered shifts Why Join Aruma HEART Promise : Be part of a team that helps you Heart your work every day.
