Stroud Homes Toowoomba is seeking a talented and experienced Sales Estimator to join our growing team. As a full-time Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and comprehensive estimates for our construction projects in the Darling Downs area. It is our mission to provide new home buyers with an outstanding, frictionless and stress free building experience from the moment of enquiry – through to handing over the keys. We are also aiming to be the employer of choice with-in the local construction industry by providing an amazing work environment coupled with opportunities for growth and development personally and professionally. What you'll be doing Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for new home projects Collaborate with our sales and design teams to understand project requirements and specifications Conduct thorough material takeoffs and pricing research to ensure competitive and profitable estimates Provide timely and responsive support to our sales team, assisting with client inquiries and proposals Continuously monitor and adjust estimates as projects progress, identifying potential savings or cost overruns Contribute to the development and improvement of our estimating processes and tools What we're looking for Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within the residential building industry Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and pricing Proficiency in using estimating software and spreadsheet applications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure What you will get from us: A friendly, family run business environment for you to thrive Ongoing mentoring and skills training to keep you at your best What you need to do next If this sounds like you – send us a brief cover letter & resume outlining your experience and skills and we'll contact you to arrange a chat. #J-18808-Ljbffr
