Responsibilities Provide on‑site and remote IT support for end users (Windows/macOS, Office 365, peripherals). Diagnose and repair laptops and desktops, including hardware swaps, component testing, and rebuilds. Perform screen replacements and other device repairs with care and precision. Set up and configure networking gear (routers, switches, access points, basic firewalls). Deploy and maintain UniFi environments (controller set‑up, AP adoption, VLANs, guest networks). Handle ticketing, documentation, and client communication with clear, friendly updates. Coordinate parts, RMAs, and warranty processes; keep inventory tidy and accurate. Key Requirements Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence (required). Proven IT EUC support experience (minimum 2 years preferred). Strong laptop/desktop hardware repair skills (diagnostics, parts replacement). Demonstrated screen‑replacement experience (highly regarded). Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS, NAT, Wi‑Fi standards, basic VLANs. Practical setup/configuration of routers and access points; UniFi experience highly preferred. Familiarity with ticketing systems and structured documentation. Excellent customer service—calm under pressure, clear communicator. Nice to Have Exposure to MDM/EDR tools (Intune, Jamf, CrowdStrike). Basic scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash). SMB stack knowledge: Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure AD/Entra ID. IT certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, UniFi/Ubiquiti, Microsoft). Location, Hours & Perks Based in Brisbane CBD with daily travel to client sites across Brisbane. Full‑time position; occasional after‑hours work may be required. Vehicle allowance or mileage reimbursement, phone/tech allowance, and tools where applicable.
