The incumbent will be employed on a 12‑month contract as a Dental Assistant – WSLHD Trainee, contracted under a NSW training contract and automatically enrolled in a Certificate III in Dental Assisting. The trainee will learn and undertake education and clinical responsibilities across all aspects of dentistry, including chairside assisting, infection control management, instrument preparation, dental charting, sterilisation, and patient care. Essential Requirements Minimum Year 10 School Education or above Evidence of diversity claim: Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Selection Criteria Identified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants, required to identify as Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. Completion of Year 10 or above. Demonstrated ability to manage both work and study commitments. Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Willingness to work across multiple dental clinic locations within Western Sydney Local Health District.
