Truck Body Mechanical Engineer/Draftsman Truck Body Mechanical Engineer/Draftsman Location: Somersby About us Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company within the Borg Group of companies. Crossmuller specialises in design and construction, structural steel manufacturing, truck boy building, electrical and automation systems suitable for Manufacturing, and industrial warehouses. Crossmuller currently operates in Central Coast and Hunter Regions, Sydney, Oberon and Mt Gambier. As a result of our ongoing growth and success, Crossmuller is seeking an experienced Mechanical Truck Body Draftsman who is capable across multiple disciplines, motivated by growth, is detail focused and passionate. Key Responsibilities: Design and detailing of truck bodies and chassis using Solidworks Detailing fabrication drawings and BOM creation Driving the truck building department and registering of new truck body designs to NHVR Requirements and Qualifications: Proficiency with 3D and 2D packages (Mainly SolidWorks) Experience working in similar industry/department considered highly advantageous Demonstrated experience in the preparation of workshop drawings Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience in mechanical structural design and detailing Excellent verbal and written communications The ability to work alone as well as part of a small team Employee Benefits: Employee Benefits at Kennards Hire, Bupa and Central Coast Motor Group Employee Referral Program with rewards up to $1000 Access to Fitness Passport Friendly, supportive team environment The ability to work close to home Job security Growing and diverse company Australian-owned private company Your skills and work ethic will be rewarded with excellent working conditions, salary and unmatched opportunities within one of Australia’s largest employers.
