Saini and Saini Family Trust – Bracken Ridge QLD Ekam Australia Pty Ltd ATF Saini & Saini Family Trust trading as Kings Curry Hut abn: located on 10/250 Telegraph Rd, Bracken Ridge QLD 4017 are seeking to employee a full‑time Chef in restaurant We are a busy restaurant and require a fulltime Chef immediately Qualifications AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (ANZSCO Skill Level 2) Have at least 1 year of full‑time work experience in the nominated occupation Responsibilities Plan menus with Restaurant Manager, including daily specials, menus for functions, special occasions, or catering (if required). Demonstrate cooking techniques and assign cooking duties to kitchen staff. Discuss and resolve food complaints efficiently with the kitchen and wait staff. Prepare and cook food according to the menu and meet special dietary requirements, including sauces, desserts, etc. Estimate product requirement and costs for the following day and on a weekly basis. Ensure appropriate regulatory licences are up to date, e.g. Food Safety Supervisor. Arrange for the input of invoices for inventory and stock control. Supervise and prepare roster for the kitchen staff. Monitor all stages of preparation and presentation of the dishes. Ensure food prepared in the kitchen is of highest possible quality and standards. Properly check and maintain all kitchen equipment and conduct regular audits of temperature‑controlled facilities. Regulate temperatures on ovens, grills and other cooking equipment in the kitchen. Have full operational knowledge of all recipes, standards, portion sizes and presentation style of dishes produced within the kitchen. Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients.
