Experienced Scheduler/Office Allrounder

Townsville Service Group (TSG) is a locally owned and operated business in Townsville. With our business growing, we are expanding our administrative team. We are searching for a motivated and experienced Scheduler/Office Allrounder to complement our existing admin team, the heartbeat of our operations. In this fast-paced environment, you will assist in coordinating our HVAC and Electrical service teams, ensuring service appointments are managed efficiently and customers receive timely, professional support. From handling incoming calls and emails to problem-solving on the fly, you'll be one of the main connections between customers, technicians, and the broader team—keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage technician schedules, ensuring efficient coverage of daily service requests Liaise with customers to confirm appointments, follow up on queries, and provide updates Communicate effectively with internal departments to support operational delivery Maintain accurate records and data entry across scheduling and service systems Manage changes or urgent requests calmly and proactively, resolving issues as they arise Support ongoing improvements to service processes and team coordination Handling tasks related to daily office flow, such as invoicing, reservations, or accounts To be successful, you will have: Previous experience in a service coordination or scheduling role, ideally within trade services, maintenance, or a similar industry Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting High level of accuracy and attention to detail Confidence using SimPro or similar scheduling software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook) A collaborative, team‑oriented approach and a positive, can‑do attitude Australian citizenship required for this position Full‑time position (Monday–Friday) Salary negotiable to the successful applicant, based on experience.
