Administration Assistant - Broken Hill - Talent Pool Join the team at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice in Broken Hill as an Administrative Assistant for our Community Corrections office. You will provide quality customer and support services to a broad range of stakeholders, including office staff, other agencies, members of the public and offenders, to enable the efficient operation of the Community Corrections office. Location : Broken Hill Community CorrectionsEmployment type : Build talent pool to fill temporary and ongoing vacanciesSalary : $75,728 - $82,329 pa plus superannuation & leave loading What You’ll Do The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of administrative duties, including but not limited to: Undertake administrative activities for the Manager and work teams, ensuring activities are completed effectively, records updated and inquiries clarified. Maintain manual and digital records accurately and securely, ensuring accessibility. Respond efficiently to inquiries and routine requests for information, escalating as necessary. Update records and databases in line with records‑management processes. Request court depositions and records in a timely manner. Generate routine correspondence, exercising discretion and judgement. Take meeting minutes and follow up on actions, keeping participants informed. Provide general administrative support to enable the effective operation of the Community Corrections office. Previous administration experience and high computer skills, including Microsoft Office and record‑management systems, are desirable.
