Join us and help shape a future where good health is possible for all. About The Role We’re looking for a Youth Care Coordinator, Active Minds to join our team in Canberra. In this role, you’ll engage young men in gyms, bootcamps, hikes, and other active settings to build trust, open conversations about wellbeing, and support them to take the next step in their mental health journey. You’ll play a key part in delivering person‑centred, inclusive and meaningful support to the people we serve. You Will Have a passion for men’s youth mental health Believe in the power of movement to create change Work collaboratively with young people, their friends, family and carers Contribute to safe, effective and values‑led service delivery This position is part‑time up to 15 hours per week for a period of 12 months fixed‑term contract. You’re Someone Who Holds qualifications in a relevant field or working towards the same e.g. youth work, community welfare, social work, psychology, peer work, occupational therapy, counselling or other related qualifications or demonstrated experience in a similar role. Certificate III or IV in Fitness, Personal Training, or equivalent Australian qualification (or demonstrated experience delivering structured physical activity programs). Proven ability to engage young men and support mental health outcomes through non‑traditional or activity‑based approaches.
