About the opportunity Based at Heritage Lodge Residential Aged Care home in Murwillumbah Permanent Part-time (30.4 hrs per fortnight) Monday & Tuesday (7am-3:06pm OR 8am-4:06pm) Responsibilities As the Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring planned and corrective maintenance and repairs for our (Site) Residential Aged Care Home/Retirement Living Village in (Location). Your ability to foster strong relationships with residents, contractors and suppliers will be a key part of making sure every day is the best it can be. Hands‑on repairs and maintenance General maintenance; painting, plastering, equipment repairs, installing doors, cupboards/shelves and designing garden layout Monitor stock levels of consumables and re‑order where required Respond to maintenance issues, including requests and complaints in a timely and professional manner Qualifications and experience Experience in maintenance and grounds duties, preferably in an aged care environment Relevant Certificate IV qualification and/or significant relevant experience Current valid driver’s licence Evidence of Australian work rights NDIS Worker Screen (or willing to obtain) Flu vaccination (recommended) A pre‑employment medical assessment may be required for this role Availability to participate in a shared on‑call roster to ensure continuity of service Benefits Our culture is both supportive and collaborative, where you can make your role your own.
