To Join As a Volunteer Academic Tutor, You Must Have graduated from a QLD High School in the past 5 years Received a minimum Band 5 or Band 6 (above an 80 or 90) in your tutoring subject(s) of choice Have access to a computer with stable internet connection Have a valid WWCC in QLD Be able to communicate with your student promptly Conduct one-on-one tutoring sessions to provide academic help Be able to work cohesively and with empathy alongside diverse students Requirements Working with Children Check Additional Requirements Volunteers need to be comfortable navigating email, Zoom and/or Google Meets.
