Requirements for this role Flexible hours available 2-3 years of relevant work experience required for this role Expected salary: $70,000 - $88,000 per year About Us DD Child & Family Therapy Services is a culturally safe, trauma-informed NDIS provider supporting children, young people, and adults across the NT. We are expanding our Behaviour Support team and seeking a motivated Junior/Provisional Behaviour Support Practitioner who is eager to learn, grow, and be supported through NDIS suitability levels. About the Role This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone passionate about behaviour support, mental health, disability, and community work. You will work under supervision to deliver functional assessments, interim plans, and PBS strategies while developing your practitioner skills. Key Responsibilities Assist with functional behaviour assessments (FBA) Prepare Interim Behaviour Support Plans (IBSP) Support participants using trauma-informed, culturally safe approaches Collect data and contribute to comprehensive BSPs Maintain accurate case notes and documentation Attend supervision and team training Collaborate with families, SIL providers, therapists, and external stakeholders Requirements Essential: Qualification (or final-year study) in Psychology, Social Work, OT, Education, Counselling, Disability, or similar Strong writing skills and willingness to learn Ability to follow supervision and grow through NDIS levels Cultural awareness & respect for Aboriginal communities NT WWCC (Ochre Card) or ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check Driver’s licence Desirable: Experience in disability, youth work, mental health, or child protection Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Benefits Professional development assistance Remote/Hybrid #J-18808-Ljbffr
