Overview The Junior Engineer will work under the supervision of senior engineers to support the design and delivery of mechanical and HVAC projects within commercial properties. This role involves hands‑on participation in design processes, technical reviews, site‑based activities, and general project support. The successful candidate will be proactive, detail‑oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and service quality. Position Expectations Work closely under the guidance of senior engineers. Assist with design tasks, project delivery, and technical reviews. Participate in site‑based activities, inspections, and troubleshooting. Support day‑to‑day tasks to ensure operational and project efficiency. Key Responsibilities Support senior engineers in the design and execution of mechanical and HVAC systems. Conduct site inspections and assist in identifying and resolving technical issues. Aid in preparing tender estimates and reviewing technical documentation. Provide support in facilities engineering management and coordination. Ensure adherence to Australian safety standards, codes, and regulations. Work across construction or building consultancy projects, gaining hands‑on exposure. Experiences 1 to 3 years of experience in a construction or consultancy environment. Previous exposure to facilities engineering management and coordination (highly regarded). Position Requirements Technical skills and foundational knowledge in mechanical/HVAC systems. Basic to intermediate understanding of HVAC design principles. Familiarity with Australian standards, codes, and safety regulations. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and follow guidance. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. A valid driver’s licence.
