Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager, based in Docklands, VIC, with the flexibility for some work from home. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. Responsibilities include developing and executing business strategies, managing client accounts, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailor-made logistics solutions. Tracking market trends and providing insights to refine sales strategies will also be critical components of this role. Qualifications Strong business development, sales, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to identify and pursue new opportunities Excellent negotiation, contract management, and client engagement skills Knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and freight forwarding industry Proficiency in market research, analysis, and strategy development Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Experience in working collaboratively across teams and managing projects Ability to adapt to a hybrid work environment, balancing on-site and remote work Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field preferred Prior experience in logistics or a related industry is advantageous To be considered International Freight Forwarding experience. Minimum 2 years of Sales experience in Freight Forwarding. Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation and organizational skills. Be driven to excel across all KPIs.
