About The Role Pindara Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our dedicated Cardiac Medical Ward team. In this leadership role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care while supporting and guiding your team under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager. Key Responsibilities Act as a clinical resource and role model in the delivery of cardiac nursing care. Supervise and support staff, delegating care appropriately based on skill mix. Lead shifts on afternoons and weekends and relieve the Nurse Unit Manager when required. Contribute to audits, assessments, and quality initiatives in line with Australian Standards of Care. Collaborate with medical practitioners and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Essential Skills And Experience Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. Minimum two years of experience in cardiac or critical care nursing. Proven experience as in-charge of shift. Strong clinical decision-making, organisational, and time management skills. Postgraduate qualifications in critical care or cardiovascular nursing are desirable. You are a compassionate and professional nurse who takes pride in mentoring others and contributing to a positive, supportive, and patient-focused team culture. Remuneration Base hourly rate of $54.72 – $58.82 plus superannuation , dependent on experience and qualifications (exclusive of penalties or allowances).
