What's on Offer in Newcastle + Hunter Region We're growing in the Newcastle + Hunter region and have a couple of exciting roles on offer: If you're passionate about construction and want to launch a long‑term career in building certification, this is the perfect place to start. No previous experience in certification needed (a trade background is a bonus). Learn on the job with the support of our experienced certifiers. Start the UTS Open Short Course and enrol in an Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying. Gain hands‑on inspection experience as you build towards registration. Building Surveyors / Certifiers / Inspectors If you're already registered with NSW Fair Trading (Class 1 & 10), we'd love to hear from you. You'll work across a variety of residential projects and use your knowledge to deliver high‑quality certification services. We're looking for people who can : Conduct critical stage inspections and issue compliance certificates Carry out construction, complying development and occupation certificate assessments Provide clear, confident advice to clients Investigate and resolve certification requests What You'll Bring A current NSW Fair Trading registration (A3 or A4), or you're on your way there A White Card and a solid understanding of site safety Great communication and relationship‑building skills Confidence using tech (we use Apple products, but any experience is welcome) A driver's licence and full Australian working rights A practical, proactive approach with a strong attention to detail The Perks Flexible working (home + office) Competitive salary + annual reviews Fully maintained company vehicle, laptop, iPad + phone In‑house accreditation management Paid CPD training and industry memberships PI insurance coverage Leadership development, mentoring and training Birthday leave + Purchased leave Financial support loans approved training A supportive team that's got your back Keen to Apply?
