About the role Our Melbourne Donor Centre is seeking a Centre Service Officer with a genuine passion to deliver an exceptional service to our donors. Working collaboratively in a team, a day in the centre could see you: Warmly greet and welcome our donors Provide donors with clear instructions as to the completion of paperwork Prepare food and beverages for donors and replenish the self‑service buffet bar Monitor donors post‑donation and assist them in rebooking for their next donation Our flexible self‑paced paid training program has a balance between on‑the‑job practice, and online class schedules to ensure that you are well supported. Besides having a real passion to deliver an amazing donor experience, you’ll need to be able to: Have solid customer service experience and a friendly, can‑do attitude. Occasionally lift between 9‑22.7 kg. Frequent sitting, bending and reaching to restock supplies in the kitchen. Be flexible to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts.
