Join to apply for the Infrastructure Modernisation Consultant role at Datacom We are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Modernisation Consultant to join our high-performance Professional Services team. About The Role This is a customer facing consulting position that requires exceptional collaborative skills and the ability to build strong partnerships with our customers and within Datacom. The successful candidate will have previous Professional Services experience with external customers and exposure to all aspects of delivering projects, including consulting, design, configuration, testing and deployment. What You’ll Do Work closely with Customers, Partners, Sales and Technical teams. Ensure assigned IT infrastructure-based projects are delivered on time, within budget, to agreed scope. Serve as the technical point of contact for implementation services and solutions, remotely or on-site. Provide pre‑sales support and expertise to the sales team. What You’ll Bring Experience working with external enterprise customers in a professional services environment. Design, implementation and optimisation of Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange. Virtualisation (VMWare, Hyper‑V, AHV). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Independent work on competing priorities and team collaboration. Desirable Backup and recovery (Commvault, Veeam). Hyperconverged technologies (Nutanix, Dell, Cisco). Location and Flexibility Our offices are based in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. We support a hybrid working model; discuss what works best for you and the team.
