The Carpet Cleaning Industry Needs You The ideal role for a customer-focused individual who likes meeting people, has an eye for detail and enjoys physical work. The Role As a new member of the Electrodry team your role will include: Carpet, upholstery cleaning, tile and grout cleaning and wood floor refurbishment as well as a range of other services that you will become trained and qualified to undertake. Positively recommending additional products and services to customers. Customer Service. Use and general maintenance of machinery. Preparation of daily paperwork and receipt of payments from customers. Career Development Following the completion of your initial training period, you will receive ongoing training in a range of specialist areas that include: Wood floor refinishing Tile and Grout Cleaning Mould De‑Contamination Our career development path provides the opportunity for team members to develop a well‑rounded career as they move from a technician, to a trainer, to a junior territory operations manager and then a senior territory operations manager. To be a successful candidate for this role you must: Have a current Australian driver's licence and the ability to drive a manual vehicle. Demonstrate strong communication skills. Have excellent attention to detail. Have an employment history demonstrating a strong work ethic. Successful candidates have had a background in carpentry, maintenance, hospitality and sales. Remuneration In this full‑time role, you'll start at a training rate of $32 per hour plus commissions and bonuses payable from your third week of employment. Once you have demonstrated the required level of technical proficiency providing our primary services of carpet and upholstery cleaning (usually a 3‑month process), you will move to a Qualified Technician base rate of $33 per hour. When you have proven proficiency in one of our specialist service verticals (wood floor refinishing, mould removal or tile and grout cleaning), your base pay will change to $34 per hour. Our generous commission and bonus structure rewards high levels of customer service, reliability and business performance. Once qualified you can expect to earn between $1,400 and $1,800 per week plus super & vehicle. Ready to boost your wage further? There's always lots of Saturday work available. Experience is not required and training will be provided. A vehicle will be provided for the successful applicant for travel to and from work.
