About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented, analytical, and highly organised Category Merchandising Associate to join our Product Merchandising team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of creativity and commercial thinking and is passionate about shaping product assortments that elevate the Coco Republic brand. In this role, you’ll support the development of seasonal assortment strategies by analysing sales performance, market trends, and customer insights. You’ll collaborate with Design, Inventory Management, Sourcing, Retail, Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure each collection is cohesive, commercially successful, and aligned to our broader business goals. What You’ll Do Assist in managing and growing assigned categories through detailed, fact‑based sales and trend analysis Conduct market and competitor reviews to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats Support the development and communication of annual and seasonal merchandising strategies Analyse weekly, monthly, and seasonal business performance, identifying insights and taking action to drive customer satisfaction and sales results Gather store feedback to enhance product quality, inform range selections, and inspire collection development Partner with Visual Merchandising to recommend floor layouts, storytelling approaches, and marketing collateral Proof digital product listings for accuracy, ensuring consistency across copy, specifications, and SKU information Support Inventory Management with recommendations on markdowns, delivery adjustments, and quantity updates to maximise sales and protect brand integrity Champion organisation, clear communication, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure timelines and processes are met Who You Are 2+ years of experience in merchandising or a similar commercial planning role Strong retail math capability, with proven ability to interpret and leverage data Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUPs Highly organised with excellent time management and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment A natural collaborator who enjoys contributing to team success Strong communicator with the ability to prioritise competing agendas and maintain clear structure Able to balance big‑picture thinking with exceptional attention to detail Why Join Coco Republic A warm, collaborative team culture where creativity and passion shine Performance incentives Leave on your birthday – because your special day matters Ongoing learning and career development opportunities Generous product discounts for you and your loved ones Access to our Employee Assistance Program Paid parental leave and a strong commitment to work–life balance Apply now to start your Coco Republic journey.
