We are looking for an Environmental Engineer or Environmental Scientist Graduate to join our dynamic Contamination Assessment & Remediation (CAR) team. This role will be based out of our Coffs Harbour office. What will you get to do? Conduct environmental investigations, including field investigations, drilling, monitoring well and soil vapour installation oversight, and environmental monitoring of soil, sediment, groundwater, soil vapour and surface water. Provide field oversight of contractors. Assist with field scope development, scheduling and budgeting. Assist with data compilation and interpretation. Prepare technical environmental reports for senior review. Maintain safety training to conduct environmental contaminated sites work. What you will bring to the team Graduating by December 2025 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or an equivalent. 0 to 2 years of experience in environmental consulting. Strong interest in chemistry, soil, groundwater, contamination assessment and remediation methods. Knowledge of contaminated sites regulation and associated guidance, protocols and guidelines. Willingness to travel throughout Northern NSW and Australia; field work may include long hours, extended field stints and inclement weather conditions. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills to express technical information to multiple audiences including subcontractors, clients and colleagues. Strong technical writing, data analysis and interpretation skills. Valid full driver’s licence and comfort with long distance and off‑road driving.
