This is the CORE way. About the role We are currently seeking a motivated Junior Façade Drafter looking for exciting and challenging projects with a drive to further progress their career. This is a part time role working 3 days per week, with the option to increase days over time. A great role if you have a positive outlook, are a team player and want to be challenged by working on a diverse range of residential and commercial projects. This role will suit a candidate with experience in design and drafting various façade types. A diverse role, you will be balancing a mix of responsibilities, combining your strong people skills with your passion for the technical aspects of the role. You will optimise productivity and manage own performance targets. You see solutions quickly and can think laterally to find innovative design solutions then call us. Key responsibilities Drafting detailed façade drawings across residential, commercial and industrial projects. Utilisation of Revit to produce drawing packages and coordination models. Collaborating with inhouse engineers and disciplines to achieve design outcomes. Does this Sound Like You? 2+ years’ experience in drafting. Experience using Revit, AutoCAD and Bluebeam, on residential and commercials projects. Understanding of façade systems, materials and installation processes. Understanding of weatherproofing practices. Ability to model in 3D, Rhino (preferred). Attention to detail, ability to work autonomously and collaboratively. Interested in building knowledge of NCC, Australian Standards and design best practices. Creative thinker with high level of analytical and problem-solving skills. You will have the ability to work to deadlines and use your initiative proactively daily. You have excellent written language and verbal communication skills. Why Us?
