Senior Analyst Legal Analytics Mat-Leave Feb 2027 Job No : Sydney - Inner Suburbs & CBD Brisbane - Inner Suburbs & CBD Melbourne - Inner Suburbs & CBD Max Term Full Time Legal Pay Band 5 Drive business change through data-driven insights and analytics. Join our Legal Analytics team and deliver high-quality Business Intelligence solutions that activate insights and drive business improvement. You’ll collaborate with leaders and stakeholders across Legal Technology and Operations supporting a data-driven culture and continuous innovation. This is a maternity leave cover through to February 2027. What You'll Do Deliver accurate timely reports and synthesise data to improve legal quality performance and value. Coordinate engagement to meet governance requirements focusing on data quality and compliance. Support Legal Panel Data Quality and Reporting managing queries and driving improvements. Collaborate with Data Owners, Stewards and Custodians to uplift data quality in core systems. Assist in delivering the Data and Technology roadmap for Legal supporting system and process enhancements. Partner with Legal leadership to identify scope and deliver changes that streamline processes and reporting. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, IT or equivalent experience. 5 years commercial experience in Insurance IT or quantitative disciplines (desired). Proven expertise in BI solutions and automation within complex enterprise environments. Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Cognos, SQL, Redshift) and data warehouse concepts. An eye to identify and deliver on opportunities for automation and AI in Legal. Ability to design and develop reporting and data visualisation solutions tailored to customer needs. Strong analytical thinking, problem–solving and executive engagement skills. Experience troubleshooting VBA code and MS Access Macros. Self–motivated, accountable and committed to continuous learning and development.
