About the role Thrive Support Services (J & S Cummins Pty Ltd) is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Aged and Disability Support Worker to join our team on a casual basis in Echuca, VIC. In this vital role, you’ll help improve the daily lives of our participants by supporting their independence, goals, and wellbeing through everyday tasks and meaningful engagement. What you'll be doing Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Preparing and serving meals, and supporting clients with meal planning and preparation Providing companionship and engaging clients in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities Maintaining detailed records and communicating effectively with the client's care team Ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for clients What we're looking for A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services, but can obtain on the job Previous experience providing care and support to elderly or disabled individuals preferred but not essential Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients A caring and compassionate nature, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation A valid NDIS workers screening check Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, public holidays and/or sleepovers What we offer At Thrive Support Services, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment.
