Base pay range A$165,000.00/yr - A$190,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Fyndr Group Location: Sydney CBD (Hybrid, 2-3 days in office) Salary: Up to $170,000 base + super Overview We are seeking a QA Lead to establish and own the quality assurance function for a growing SaaS platform. This is a key role where you will define the QA strategy, lead both functional and automated testing, and lay the foundations for future scale. You will work directly with engineers and delivery teams to ensure stable, high-quality product releases across several product lines. The role is fully hands-on to begin with, with the potential to grow into a team leadership or vendor management position over time. Key Responsibilities Design and implement QA processes and frameworks Define test strategy across functional and automation testing Build automated test coverage using Selenium with Java (or similar stack) Perform manual functional testing where required Collaborate with engineering, product and delivery throughout the SDLC Create test plans, write and maintain test cases, and manage defect tracking Recommend improvements to tools, processes, and coverage Contribute to hiring or vendor selection as the QA function grows What We're Looking For Proven experience as a QA Lead or Senior QA in a software or SaaS environment Strong hands-on skills in test automation (Selenium with Java preferred) Solid experience in functional testing and test case design Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of quality Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical teams What's On Offer High-impact role with full ownership of QA direction Hybrid working (2-3 days in CBD office) Seniority level Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Job function Information Technology Industries Software Development, IT System Custom Software Development, and Insurance Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Fyndr Group by 2x Sign in to set job alerts for “Quality Assurance Specialist” roles.
