Senior Project Manager. High-end residential + product-aligned pipeline Hornsby | Full-time | Start January 2026 (flexible) | (Competitive salary on offer commensurate with experience) With design awards from NECA, and strategic expansion, MAP Electrical is growing. We’re known for residential lighting craftsmanship, quality work, and relationships built over years. Our new Senior Project Manager will lift that bar even higher. What started as a tight crew of sparkies delivering beautiful residential projects has expanded into two strong streams: High-end project delivery across architect-designed homes A new product-aligned arm What you’ll do Deliver high‑end residential projects between $250k and $2M plus Own project programs, budgets, resourcing and risk using AroFlo, Groundplan, and MAP templates Coordinate subcontractors, procurement, technical problem‑solving and client expectations Run weekly reviews, forecast issues early, and build recovery plans before they bite Represent MAP in design reviews, client meetings, and site coordination Support estimating on selected tenders with take‑offs, pricing, and value‑engineering Model leadership, guide project leads, field staff, and uphold MAP’s values: Make it Happen, Add Value, Play as a Team You’ll take our most complex jobs from tender to handover, protect margins, manage high‑expectation builders and architects, and bring order to moving parts that can get messy fast You’ll thrive here if you bring 5+ years delivering electrical or construction projects on architect‑designed residential or mid‑scale commercial or residential sites. Senior site managers or senior tradespeople with PM experience are also suitable Full project lifecycle experience from tender to commissioning, with solid financial and program control Estimating capability including take‑offs, pricing, value options, and margin checks Ability to manage multiple complex projects while staying organised and meeting deadlines Strong stakeholder management with builders, architects, consultants, trades staff, and homeowners Good technical understanding of electrical systems (or similar), drawings, compliance, and site processes Clear communication skills with consistent documentation and follow‑through Comfort using job management and estimating software such as AroFlo, Groundplan, SimPRO or similar Project management intelligence coaching skills to help lift capability in the team Driver’s licence for regular site visits The benefits You’ll work with a team that cares about quality, delivery and each other Varied, interesting projects that build your mastery in high‑end residential work Team events and Christmas shutdown, plus a knowing that we value work‑life balance The opportunity to embed a new and important role in the business If this sounds like the career change you’re dreaming about, hit Apply with your resume and cover letter or call Junita on *** for a confidential chat.
